Following Jean + Justine is a photo fiction story.
Jean is 24. She works at My Photo Lab, spacing out behind the laminate counter between the slow stream of harpy customers complaining that their crappy red-eye photos aren’t done in one hour. She daydreams a lot and makes lists of things she should be reading, eating, watching, photographing, and doing with her life.
Justine is 42, newly divorced with joint custody, trying to find ways to occupy the long days when she’s by herself. She’s tried pottery, crocheting, metal work, yoga. She’s also a realtor and has taken to staying in some of the empty houses she’s showing, just for something different to do.
